This multi-age docent-led tour will take us through the newly re-opened Europe + Americas galleries! Students will get up-close to works by Monet and the impressionists, portraiture Mary Cassat, and the adventurous Winslow Homer, among others. Students will learn how art reflects the culture in which it exists and documents the histories of events, peoples, places, and values. After, families are welcome to enjoy packed lunches on the museum's grassy, shaded courtyard.
